The Role
Exposed to variety of jobs, most employees were friendly and chatty as well as getting their work done.
Was told my work was a great help and everyone looked forward to the interns joining the firm full-time
Good coaching scheme in place but this varied between in-charges and time pressures
Always had something to do plus "time-fillers"
Got to audit small companies by ourselves
Will give a head-start if/when joining the firm
The Company
Varied between teams but generally bubbly and friendly
Good training, support and organisation in place
Lots of training including skills days
Company Parties/Events
Most interns offered jobs
The Culture
Met for drinks every week and kept in touch throughout the internship
Quite expensive
Didn't have a big night out but plenty of pubs etc and a lot on during Fringe
Several after-work events
