The Role
I have enjoyed my time here very much.
Colleagues where all very kind and helpful. I learned a lot from them.
A good amount of guidance was given when asked for it.
Some days where not particularly busy and other where quite packed, it just depended on what was going on that day and the work load I had been given.
I was given a project and run it the way I wanted to while being given guidance when asked for it.
I learned some very valuable skills, including new technologies, methods of work and developed the skills I had already learned at uni.
The Company
There is a good atmosphere, everyone is very friendly and there are usually alot of other interns who are in the same position as you who will become good friends with.
Many events where planned and activities for the interns. Projects are well assigned to each person I thought.
You are treated as a normal employee and can apply to go on various training events and workshops so long as you get approval from your manager and it does not interfere with your work too much.
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
This is a very good place to work and being a Bank are able to pay more than other places where you would be doing the same work.
The Culture
There are alot of interns here in the exact same position as you and who are all very friendly.
Its in the city center so all your usual options are open, or opt to bring in your own lunch.
Glasgow night life! All the wonders of Glasgow night life are open to you.
Many different sports events are advertised and social events too.
