The Role
I really enjoyed my 3-month internship - it is hard work but extremely rewarding, and I feel like I have learnt so much in just a short space of time!
The people you work with at Enterprise Rent-a-Car will become some of your closest friends - the atmosphere in every branch is wonderful!
The management team is amazing - from the General Manager right down to the newest interns take an interest in your progression and really support you.
There is never a dull moment in this job! It is always busy but there are a wide array of tasks that can be completed.
For just a three-month intern, I was given a huge amount of responsibility - from locking up at the end of the day to teaching people who started after me.
I have learnt a huge amount of skills while working here - time management, a clear work ethic and confidence, all of which will no doubt help in my last year of university.
The Company
The banter in the office is not to be understated - everyone joins in and you feel welcome from the word go!
There are clear stages to complete, as well as regular training.
Despite only being there for a short time, I feel as if the company really invested in me as a trainee - I was given extensive training and not just treated as temporary.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I am now a Campus Brand Manager with the company, as have been offered a job with them if I wish after I graduate.
The Culture
I was regularly taken to the pub after work by my bosses and colleagues, not to mention the Area nights out!!
I lived with my parents so no rent! That is another great thing about working for Enterprise - there are branches all over so you have a wide choice of places to work. Unfortunately, Oxford is not a cheap night out!
Oxford is quite small, but the area is still a great night out!
There are many opportunities to volunteer for - such as gay pride parades or creating a garden with the local community.
