The Role
I felt the work I was given was meaningful, but wasn't so complex that I couldn't complete my task
My team were lovely and really welcoming
I was given an outline of what to achieve, but it was up to me how to do it. I feel this was good as it encouraged me to research and ask questions
I was tasked to complete 3 hours of work a day. Some days I had intern events and so didn't meet this and others I completed a lot more. I felt this was good as I did a lot of research to understand what I was working on.
Just enough to be responsible for my code, but making sure it didn't affect anything else
My programming improved greatly so this will help with university
The Company
Team were really chatty, but got down to business if needed
My team didn't actually know what day I started! Other than this it was good
Lots of additional skills learned, but other than that a personal development plan was made for each person
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
The Culture
Some interns were really socialable, but most were pretty antisocial
Pretty cheap compared to London!
Not too bad, but didn't go out much as stated above
We did a volunteer project, but that was about it
