The Role
I cam with no experience and enjoyed what I learnt. It has encouraged me to study mechanical engineering.
Valued and treated as an engineer.
Quite a lot but not every day. They usually answered questions when I asked though.
During the core of the placement I was very busy. At the start and end i had less to do.
A lot, I was given my own project.
I can use them in any further job applications or interviews. It has made me more confident dealing with people and being put on the spot to answer questions.
The Company
Work quite hard.
I felt every student had very different work which just depended on their manager.
Allowed me on training courses and to meetings.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would definitely consider a job here in the future.
The Culture
The students were close and enjoyed nights out together.
Very cheap
I never went but I heard it was ok.
There were sports clubs and other social clubs however I did not join any work related one. I joined the Town rugby club however and played for them.
