About You
It was a real world example of how the company worked, although there was no choice on the type of project you would work on.
I could not ask for more assistance and more care shown towards my own development. This was fantastic.
Nearly all tasks were given with full support, and the buddy system is a great way to build a relationship where you can discuss the work.
Showed me areas in the business sector that were strong, and areas that I needed to focus on.
The Company
The experience was pretty seamless, with training provided before, and celebrations offered on the fial day.
Clearly a stressful environment, with long hours. However, this was good to get the insight.
Offered overview of the company, and a full day excel training.
It was a real life experience, working on a real life project.
I did not get the opportunity to experience work in other project sites.
There was a possibility of a job offer if expectations were reached.
Everything Else
It was a paid internship role of approximately £400 per week.
Drinks evenings were put on, and networking opportunities were available before and during the placement.
A large part of a job at Accenture is the ability to network, and there are many societies and opportunities to meet other staff at the company.
Similar to the University style societies, Accenture has specific opportunities catered to all interests, as an opportunity to both network or socialise.
It was a fantastic opportunity to understand the role of a Management Consultant, with specific job roles working under managers and consultants. A fantastic company to experience.
