The Role
Enjoyable. Made a good network of colleagues.
I felt like a valuable member of the team.
There was a very good support network to help with any problems I had. From an analyst to director level.
This varied. But for the majority of the time, I was not given too much work.
I sent out reports that were seen by management. Although I feel I could have been given more responsibilty.
I learnt useful skills, mainly IT skills. But also developed inter personal skills.
The Company
Friendly atmosphere, although could be a bit quiet at times!
Weekly emails from the HR department, updating us to what was going on over the coming weeks.
In my role it was mainly on the job training, when my team members had time for me to sit with them.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
There are plenty of job opportunities and different careers possible within the firm.
The Culture
Very good social scene with the fellow interns on the programme.
Not cheap. But salary was decent, so not too big an issue.
Lots of pubs and places to go out. Very close to central London!
I had time to do sports outside of working hours. Aswell as socialise with fellow interns.
