The Role
I loved it! I met really amazing people and worked in a great team! A yesr placement is seriously rewarding! like if you are thinking of doing it don't think, just DO IT!! You wont regret it
My team was amazing, although we were quite small(only 4 of us) due to how niche our service was we valued and respected each others input. I often gave suggestions about things that could be done differently and they took it on board!
They were always there when needed but alot of my work required being very proactive
Some days were busier than others but ultimately I tried to look for where i could provide assistance even if it meant taking on more work
There were tasks that I solely managed which enabled me to develop my skills more fully but I also had responsibilities of helping out in my team especially during campaigns like Iron Man 3 :)
DEFINITELY USEFUL, your placement is what you make it and I endeavoured to make sure i gained the most
The Company
our office unfortunately was the smaller/less bubbly of the two london offices but nonetheless we had our fun moments
It was set up in terms of i knew exactly what my tasks were and a better understanding helped me make any helpful suggestions
Lol I dont think its their thing. Although, they had different career talks throughout the year
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
It is a very reputable and high respected company so working there will be amazing but they don't do graduate jobs unfortunately :(
The Culture
YESSSS all the interns were pretty cool and we always tried to have an activity each week
LONDON IS NO PLACE FOR THE POOR
I think the fact that it was in london speaks for itself, a very wide RANGE of clubs and bars so that was encouraging
Yes there was a company called enjoy work that organised activities in the business park where the office was located! We had the dinner in the sky experience which was amazing!
