The Role
Tasks given were very good, developed my understanding of the way things are done and gained a number of scripting skills in the process.
I felt that I got on with everyone and that on a daily basis people were interested in what I was doing and how I was getting on with things.
My line managers were great, always happy to help point in the right direction. They help you to help yourself so you can complete the task.
Very good balance of work in the tasks that I was set.
The right amount, never too much and not too little.
There were a number of skills which will help in the long run and perhaps for my final year.
The Company
A great balance of office banter and serious.
Overall, I felt the placement was organised well.
There was not a lot that I needed in the way of training or extra investment.
Company Parties/Events
I feel that things generally went very well and that the prospects are looking good.
The Culture
Yes, a really good group of us and we all got on with other members of staff.
Very good value for money on food and drink.
A good number of of pubs, bars and clubs around to select from.
That I know of, there were at least a few: Office band jamming sessions, football and I think a group playing badminton.
