  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I enjoyed it very much, I learned a lot from this internship and would love to come back to the company.

  • I felt valued because they were always there to help me when I had any problems and they treated me like one of their own.

  • I was given all the necessary support and guidance needed to complete the work to the highest standard.

  • I never felt overworked nor did I feel like I was bored. It was the perfect balance of work.

  • I was surprisingly given a lot of responsibility as I carried out work that current employees would do.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I felt that my communication skills and technical skills were advanced greatly during the internship. It helped me become a better team player and I will use these skills to my advantage in future work situations.

  • It was a great, open atmosphere.

  • I had regular emails from the organisers. I thought that they did a good job as I was always kept up to date.

  • They allowed me to do any training that I desired which allowed me to develop as a person.

  • I have secured a graduate offer.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Regular events allowed us to socialise outside of the workplace.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Drinks were cheaper than I expected. Better than London anyway.

  • Many clubs in the surrounding area makes for a great night out!

  • As I said earlier, we had regular social events.
