  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • All round, there were so many interns it was difficult to get one on one support for the project. The project was really interesting and engaging though.

    • All friendly, but the usual office politics going on.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • A reasonable amount of support, but this was the key weakness in my experience, although it wasn't that bad!

    • If I had been given more support, I would have got less stuck and could have been much more productive.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was not allowed all that much responsibility so was only allowed to do my own work and some members of staff discouraged asking questions about other things (this was most strange and unprofessional)

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I have already found what I encountered to be useful and I am sure it will augment my student experience.

    • I was well organised in advance, although I wasn't given an internship review or interim review.

    • They allowed me to work overseas to which I am most grateful!

    • I fully intend to join this fantastic company as they have so many opportunities and the work they do is very engaging!

    • Living cost in Singapore was extortionate!
