The Role
My placement was very enjoyable, however the work I was set could get monotonous at times.
I felt very valued, especially when science and technology leaders valued your opinion.
I was given both support by those around me, my line manager and my project manager
I had a lot of freedom with only an end of placement deadline, so it depended on how productive I was feeling during the day as to how much I got done.
The Company
It was quiet, but everyone was always willing for a chat and a laugh.
During the placement itself was very well organised, however beforehand there was very little communication about where you were based and your project which I found frustrating
Not really
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
The Culture
There are lots of apprentices on site who are a similar age to myself. However where we were based (Bedford) offered very little to do. So it was often just drinks.
