    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Quite a bit. Employees were very lively. Most of the students were down to earth and nice to chat with.

    • They treat you like special guests!!!

    • There was a session on employability skills that developed skills to use in applications and interviews.

    • Not very useful for degree studies but for a future career.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured. We were told of the structure of the day before it started.

    • Quite decent and down to earth. Not the snobby stuff you might find in investment banks.

    • Employability skills. About one hour on it.

    • The sessions talked quite a bit about how interns and graduates progress through their years in the firm.

    • We got to network with other employees where we could talk about the working culture.

    • Was mainly about different roles in actuarial consulting (Retirement, pensions, Investmen etc) or any other business area in Towers Watson. Employees gave presentations about what every business area is about.

    • Travel Expenses.

    • Yes during lunch.

    • It was only a one day event.

    • Yes some employees spoke about sports teams at the company.

    • Of course if they want to find out more about actuaries or any business area within Towers Watson.
