The Role
Great, varied job role. Seen alot of people and got the cnahce to do and learn lots of new and different things.
Right from the off, I felt like an integrated member of the team and never felt left out at all, very good company to work for.
Manager and Graduate I worked with during my placement were extremely helpful what ever queries I had. Never felt scared or hesitant to ask.
Alongside my primary job role, I kept myself busy with alterior projects; I find this is the best way to work.
I was given (and took) the opportunity to handle and create data that was used in several meetings and reviews.
I have learned alot. From a technical, social, and all round vocational standpoint, this placement has helped me greatly. I feel like I would be ready to jump right into the working environment.
The Company
Nature of the job means you cannot be having a party all of the time. With hard work comes a sometimes boring working atmosphere but this was tolereable due to the frequent break and team chats we had.
Second to none. Cummins knows how to run a placement scheme with ease. The only hiccup is the week or so Placement Students must spend not working due to technical (I.T.) difficulties.
Attended several training sessions and was constantly learning. Cummins spends alot of money on improving it's employees, just as the employees spend alot of time improving Cummins and it's products.

Subsidised/Company Gym
After being on the placement Scheme for several years, I have enjoyed my time here. But unfortunately after this placement, me and Cummins will be parting ways.
The Culture
Never really got into much detail with any of the other Students, all seemed nice though.
.
Darlington is not very appealing being as it is 30- minutes away from Newcastle.
Some, such as go-karting, employee parties etc.
