The Role
Really enjoyed it, found it interesting, it kept me busy the whole time and have me some great skills for when I get a proper job after I leave university
My opinion was asked about things not just relevant to my project but about other aspects of the work as well
Made lots of great friends there who I will be keeping in contact with outside of work
Other than the first week when my manager was away a few days I was busy the entire time
Was given a project to work on for the 12 weeks I worked there. I saw it through all the stages of its development and got to hand it off to someone when I left with a plan for the future
Really helped develop my ability to produce reports for a work envirnonment
The Company
A very social office but still work orientated keeping productivity high
It was set up very well for me with my line manager being very helpful and having work prepared for me, although not all the summer students ha it as good
They didn't invest in any additional training for me but provided more than sufficient traning for my role
