The Role
I really enjoyed my time at DWP, I was given many opportunties to develop my stretch myself.
I was able to complete real work that impacted on my team and made me feel valued.
My team and wider DWP colleagues were all very welcoming and more than happy to take time out to give me some advice.
Some days were busier than others, but generally there was enough work.
I took on responsbility for various projects, even leading on certain issues.
I am now a much stronger candidate thanks to the formal/informal training offered: Formal training - MBTI event, NVQ Level 3 in Business Admin, mentor and coach Informal training - CV advice, competency advice
The Company
My team were very friendly and the open-plan office meant I was able to meet people outside of the team too.
Well organised, but I sought out a lot of development opportunities for myself.
As stated before, a lot of training invested.
