  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed the whole internship. It was really great.

  • I felt very valued by my colleagues. All the members of my team were very friendly and approachable.

  • I could ask my manager any questions that I had and he answered then in great detail.

  • I felt that I was very busy but the workload was never too much that I couldn't handle it.

  • I was given a lot of responsibility. I was given some accounts of actual clients to do.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My communication skills have undoubtedly been improved by this experience. My team work skills have also improved. I feel that both of these skills are invaluable in the workplace and will be very useful in the future.

  • It was a very friendly atmosphere. I felt very welcome.

  • It was very well organised as I was always busy with something and never felt bored. I feel that the internship was set up so that I see the best of the company.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was given a week of training at the start of the internship and then when I was working I was always given helpful advice and tips from the other members of my team.

  • I got a graduate job with them!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We regularly met up for lunch and after work we would go out for drinks.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It was quite expensive but I expected the high cost in London.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • The clubs and pubs in the surrounding area made for an exciting night out.

  • There were quite a few company events that we had the opportunity to go to.
