The Role
Enjoyable atmosphere, great people working on my team
The people in my team respected my ideas, and listened to my ideas
As a 3rd year student, I did have some questions in my day-to-day tasks, and I was helped accordingly.
Some days were busy and required off-site trips. Other days, when I was waiting on other employees, the work was a little slower. But there was always side projects and tasks to keep me busy
Appropriate for my level of qualifications
Given me a great insight into project management and manufacturing in engineering
The Company
Standard workplace office
From day 1, I knew what was expected of me, and HR kept in contact with deadlines for project work. However, the first week was difficult because IT hadn't sorted out my log in account
It felt like the internship was well run, and that there were investing in potential graduates
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Very good, potential for graduate scheme
The Culture
Within my team, we organised social events
Was in Hall of Residence for the 10 weeks, not too expensive
Small town, not bad for its size
Only within the other interns/my team
