The Role
It was an amazing experience - I learned so much, met so many brilliant individuals and had so much fun!
I felt that not only the work I was doing actually mattered, but as well I felt that my presence was very valued.
Great! I felt that I could ask any questions at any time, and get a good answer
Very! Although they are quite relaxed, the projects you get given actually keep you interested and inspire you to work harder!
I felt that we were given enough responsibility. Although what I was working on was not completely crucial, it was actually something that will go to clients and have some impact.
Not only I managed to improve my computer science skills, but I also managed to obtain great and very useful financial and managerial knowledge!
The Company
Amazing! R&D people could bring any clothes they like, they are very relaxed, but at the same everyone is extremely smart and passionate for what they do!
Very - you can feel that they put a lot of effort to make this internship what it was!
I actually felt that they value their interns as much as their employees - Bloomberg actually invest in their people and believe that they are their most valuable asset.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
Bloomberg is probably one of the coolest technology companies to work at - At the time of writing I would definitely compare it with places like Google or Facebook.
The Culture
Yes, all my colleges were very intelligent and yet very cool and friendly.
Depends on you - you could eat every day at the pantry for free if you wish to.
Shoreditch has some decent places.
Yes! Dancing, sports, many things.
