    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I slotoed seamlessly into my old role, this enabled me to make the most of my placement

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I worked in the same department, however even colleagues with whom I'd not dealt with in the past were respectful and provided support where necessary.

  • Support was available if I needed it.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • If I was not busy, there was no problem picking something up, I just had to ask what work I could take on

  • I undertook testing to determine design changes on programs. And was sent independently to support other departments within hte business

  • I built on previous skills and sought to broaden my capability through learning of others across the company

  • If you were engaged you could get the most out of the office environment

  • More could be done to support from a HR point of view

  • 12 weeks is a little short for heavy investment.

  • I was recommended for a graduate position by my boss, and the day after my interview I was offered a graduate postion

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I have heard there was but through their own doing. I was not living near enough to be involved.

  • A range of places varying in cost, housing is a little more expensive

  • Leamington is home to the majority of Warwick uni students

  • If you wanted to be it with other placement students or work colleagues there was always something
