The Role
Really worthwhile experience, fantastic environment, friendly
Felt really appreciated, line manager attentive and almost all staff aware of and grateful for contributions
Management attentive without being overbearing, allowed independence but were always available to help and advise. Also given a 'mentor' to help me out with any silly questions.
Some slow days but on the whole always had a project on the go and something to keep me occupied
Lots! Was writing reports at a national level and compiling things for directors etc. They were not afraid to give me real work to do!
Gave me a whole lot of CV-filling experience as well as teaching me a few lessons in working with people and working life in general
The Company
Friendly, light-hearted and sociable but everyone knew when it was time to get on with their work
Some organisational issues regarding start dates and payroll etc. but all resolved in the end. Pretty laborious application process.
Opportunities always available for those who make a special effort to seek them out
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing but very difficult to come by! Very very competitive graduate scheme
The Culture
Everyone friendly and up for socialising in lunch breaks, after work etc.
Typical London, quite pricey!
Excellent but, as above, very expensive
Enough for those who wanted them without them being thrust on you
