I gained a new skill by becoming acquainted with the GSA software which I had never used before.
The Company
Using the GSA software to create the geometry of a cable stayed bridge and carrying out different load analysis on the cable stayed bridge. The cable stayed bridge was a part of the ongoing Brunei bridge project. The Task was well structured.
Very Good. It was a nice learning environment, the staff were friendly, experienced and helpful.
I gained a new skill by becoming acquainted with the GSA software which I had never used before. Because it was a short internship we weren't given tedious tasks to do.
It gave me an insight into the roles of the Arup’s Civil Structures and Bridges Group
Got to know a bit about the social life of the company
Quite valuable, because it gave an insight into the various possibilities available in the civil engineering industry by being involved in the current projects of the company.
