The Role
I was taken for meals and socials, and was immediately welcomed into both the tax team and my office.
Fantasic support throughout, with regular meetings with my people manager and daily contact with my buddy. Training sessions to use the databases and IT systems were provided, and I was fully briefed and supported on all tasks given to me.
Overall I was fairly busy throughout, however there were days when I had very little work.
As the internship progressed, I became responsible for certain tasks and processes. In the last few weeks I was trusted with more challenging technical work.
The skills I gained not only in accounting but in networking, teamwork and communication will be extremely useful in any future career.
The Company
Very friendly office, however there could have been more socials during my time there.
From day 1 I had training and shadowing opportunities prepared for me. The whole tax team was happy to delegate and explain work to me and let me shadow meetings.

The Culture
The nightlife in the immediate area was pretty poor, however we were invited to intern nights out in other cities.
