  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I felt I received a well rounded and inclusive experience of the company.

  • I got along really well with everyone I met, I felt like I could be great friends with any colleague.

  • I had a mentor who happily answered all of my questions and met for lunch on a few occasions.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I had enough work to fill my time but was able to leave at the right time as opposed to other members of staff who often stayed on late to complete projects.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was handling fairly junior work- plenty of basic excel tasks but I did complete work that was used in the final audit, and it was some of the same work as other members of staff.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • My teamwork, presentation and professional skills were all enhanced especially.

  • Everyone was generally in a pleasant mood, but audit can only get so fun.

  • Everything was taken care of and we were well informed of all aspects.

  • We took part in lots of teambuilding and professional development exercises

  • Yes, we went out around once a week.

  • London was pretty expensive.

  • It was in London so everything was available, although we did spend a lot of time in Abacus!
