The Role
It was a great learning experience and challenging as well.
Being part of a top class team might be scary but my colleagues offered their full support when needed and I felt like I had a contribution towards the final product, which is very rewarding.
Every time I needed to have a chat with either my line manager or engineering supervisor they were very helpful, supportive and caring about my overall industry experience.
I undertook a wide variety of tasks depending on business/team milestones. I think in general as dealing with projects and arising problems people will face a combination between very busy and normal pace times.
I am very happy with the responsibilities assigned. As soon as I showed my capability and enthusiasm to my team the task difficulty increased. This ultimately developed further my skills which is a great asset.
I recently started my 3rd year of studies as a returning student. I feel more confident as now I know how to address/approach a problem in a similar way as dealt with in real industry situations. One year in industry, especially with a top class engineering company as Rolls-Royce, forced me to stretch to the limits and get beyond my "comfort zone" where the real learning process starts.
The Company
I felt like part of a great team, who knows how to enjoy a good moment.
I received all the necessary training pack the same as a permanent employee.
