  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed the whole experience. I would do it again in a heart beat.

  • Everyone in my team were very friendly and I felt like an important part of the team.

  • All of the questions that I had were answered by my team promptly and thoroughly. I was never left confused about anything.

  • All of the work that I was given I could handle. It was hard work but I never felt like it was too much work.

  • The work that I was given was real work carried out by the employees at the company. The work I did felt important.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Everything that I learned could be useful in the future. I improved many things like teamwork and communication. I also improved my skills using Excel.

  • It was obviously formal but not to the extent where I felt that I couldn't enjoy the work that I was doing.

  • The whole internship felt very well organised from the start. It was clear that everything was prepared beforehand.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • All of the members of my team took time to explain things to me and make it a comfortable experience. Even though I asked a lot of questions, my manager was happy to spend the time and explain everything to me.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I went out for lunch everyday with the other interns so we had lots of time to socialise and get to know each other.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I was in London so it was expensive but I expected it.

  • Many local clubs that we could go to. Every night that we went out was exciting and different.

  • We had a few company events to socialise and get to know our colleagues. They were lots of fun.
