The Role
Fantastic opportunity, gives a great insight into the business world and how it operates.
Treated as an equal.
Fantastic manager, very supportive and encouraging.
I was based in an Airport branch, it was a fast paced which I throughly enjoyed.
Was given some responsibilty which was fantastic, often does not happen when new to a job. I found this extremely rewarding, showed me that the company and my mangers both trusted and believed in me. Really eye opening also to see what the future could hold.
I would say the skills developed are extremely benifical to anyone hoping to manage people and businesses in the future.
The Company
Everyone got on well in the branch I was based at, amazing atmosphere.
Everyone in the branch was in sync with eachother so the process worked well and customers were happy.
The company do a great job in training you for the job prior to being in the work enviroment. They have a training week beforehand and training days throughout the placement, great chance to expand your knowledge. There is always a support network from the training managers as well as your own managers also if you have an questions or issues.
Company Parties/Events
Talking of working with the company in the future which would be fantastic.
The Culture
Intern bbq and the training days were great chance to network with other employees and colleagues.
I am based in Edinburgh so it is not the cheapest area, the airport also have a location fee on all prices which can make it a little more costly. Having said that the staff at the airport recieved 10% discount which helped.
Edinburgh is good for night out.
Within my branch we had nights out which was great, often people dont socialise outside of work but having all gotten on so well we did so.
