About You
Brilliant insight into all aspects of the Company.
During the numerous networking events that they ran on the event, many of the people who interviewed me recognised me, the work I did towards a debate at the end of the week was also valued by those running the Boot Camp despite my non-financial background.
Never afraid to ask anybody any kind of question, whether about the workplace, the people etc everyone was very forthcoming.
Very good basic grounding in finance and economics for me as a non-finance student at University, will definitely be useful in the future.
The Company
Very well organised, both Thomas and Dale had clearly put in plenty of work to make it run like clockwork.
Generally very good, everyone very upbeat, but at times towards the end of the day people did start to lag, but usually morale was high.
Having actually been interviewed for the 10 week internship that they run, but due to the year I graduate not being able to do it and therefore being offered this insight, I would say a lot.
It showed you the full workings of the company in London, the jobs people would be doing in each department etc, very thorough.
Bloomberg has a very distinctive culture and you can see that in the people it hires, it was very clear to me the type of person Bloomberg look for and how important the company's culture is to it's employees.
Very useful, a brilliant insight into the company and whether I would consider a career with it, but also broadening my mind to where I could fit into the world of finance as a whole.
Everything Else
It was an unpaid insight week.
Almost every day we had networking lunches and the networking drinks on friday was a great way to chat to plenty of people!
Very good, everyone was really easy to talk to and I learnt plenty from them.
All sorts of things, artistic, charitable, the fact that they have set hours means that employees have a life outside of work, which you don't often find with some financial employers!
Great experience and insight into the company, met plenty of people and kickstarted my professional network.
