The Role
Great placement. Treated as a proper assistant. Given lots of responsibility and respect. Great team that I worked with. Lots of training. Very enjoyable.
Feel very valued by my immediate team. Not as valued by the trading managers.
My manager gave me continious support and managerment through my entire placement.
At some points throughout the year i was very busy e.g. important review meetings. But at other times it would be my general day to day roles. I was never bored throughout my placement and always had work to do.
I feel had an excellent amount of responsibility. I was given the responsibility for various projects, day to day roles etc. I feel to be given anymore responsibility would have been too much, as some things do need to be decided by the manager etc.
This placement is different to my degree. However, there are many skills that i feel i will keep for life.
The Company
The atmosphere could sometimes be stressful, in stressful periods, however my team always kept very calm. Generally, the atmosphere was easy going and an easy working enviroment - not too loud or too quiet etc,
I feel the placement was very well set up. I feel there could have been a few more meetings about how the placement was going - as there were a few things i would have like to discuss, such as working on a different department at some point through the year.
The company let me go on any traininng i requestd, and encouraged me to go on lots of training.

Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I very much hope to have future prospects within the organisation.
The Culture
The social scene was not as good as expected, however I lived with the other placement students where we socialised together.
The area i worked in was very cheap for socialising and living.
The area in which i worked did not have a great nightlife, however there are cities close by such as Birmingham and Leicester which do have a great nightlife.
There were not that many activities outside of work to get involved in.
