  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was great to gain experience in a fast paced engineering environment. The projects were very interesting and I had experience in various disciplines.

    • I was treated like any other member of staff and given responsibilities of someone who have been there for a prolonged period of time.

    • Frequently as I was encouraged to ask questions and queries throughout my work.

    • The work load was demanding as it for everyone in the industry though the support and assistance I received allowed me to maintain a great balance.

    • I was given important tasks throughout the time of my placement and my responsibilities grew with time also.

    • Learning in such a fast paced, information filled environment has definitely already prepared my future studies in addition to providing me with various transferable skills.

    • It was generally busy and fast paced as you would expect in an engineering office.

    • Very well organised as I was able to experience a variety of aspects within the organisation.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Everyone was always sociable in addition to sports and social committee who organised activities and events for the organisation.

    • Reasonably affordable as I commuted from a different area to work by train.

    • The area has a good nightlife.
