The Role
It was really enjoyable! Great company to work for.
I felt very included straight away and everyone was very welcoming.
Given a high level of support and if I ever needed advice or help I just had to ask for it.
I was busy all of the time. Sometimes it bordered on too busy but I think this was positive for me as it really pushed me and got me working.
I was given responsibility a lot of the time which was quite daunting! But at the same time I really enjoyed being able to make decisions.
I have gained lots of skills from my placement, and these are things I will be able to take into future life with me.
The Company
It was a great atmosphere there, everyone was really welcoming in general and morale was generally high which made it a positive place to work.
Really well set up, it was a three month placement with training at the beginning and it worked really well.
I had training which was very useful at the beginning but there wasn't much else done after this.
Company Parties/Events
It is a great company and I would like to apply for a job in the future with them but possibly in a different area.
The Culture
Yes definitely, I made lots of friends and even after the placement we are still staying in touch.
The accommodation was cheap but socialising was just expensive in some places.
Really good nightlife in the area although it was quite expensive to go out. There were special nights aimed directly at workers.
We were presented with many opportunities for different activities which I enjoyed.
