  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I had a great time and learnt a lot. It was important for my professional development.

    • They were all very appreciative of the work that I did. I felt like I was part of the team. I was welcomed every morning.

    • Whenever I had any questions my colleagues were always willing to answer them. They were all approachable.

    • I always had something to do which was perfect. When my job list was getting low I would ask for more work.

    • I was sent out on site visits on my own and responsible for time management.

    • A positive atmosphere which balanced a few laughs with hard work.

    • Very well organised and everything ran to plan.

    • The review sessions were very important and useful. I was urged to apply for the graduate scheme.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Colleagues would invite me for a drink on a Friday evening and fellow placement students would meet up occasionally.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • In London it is expensive so not very cheap. However, it was only once a week so it was fine.

    • London has a great nightlife.
