  • Thegraduate scheme leading on from the internship is a brilliant scheme- every ex-grad I have spoken to are lined up for or already have a job within the council at a management position- they really value graduates and if you are good you have the opportunity to rise to the top.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Brilliant- loads of activities to partake in, plenty of socialising to be done in sleepy shropshire!

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Affordable but more expensive to the student lifestyle I was used to- this was offset by the paypacket though- which more than met my needs.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Quaint pubs and lively bars but not many clubs (which I feel is a bit better) perhaps not too suited to a party animal due the the rurality of the county.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I joined crossfit with my colleges, we scheduled meals out, cooked for one and other and went to charity events (i.e. a game of rounders)- there was never a dull moment!

    5/5
