The Role
Really enjoyed my placement, and would defintely recommend it to other students.
A lot of my colleagues valued my work very much, and were very grateful when i spent my time to help them out.
My supervisors were great and would help me out any time i had a problem if i asked.
Some days were a lot busier than others, but I never felt bored.
I really appreciated the amount of responsibilty I was given. It helped me to learn so much more than I'd expected.
From the high level of responsibility, fast paced demanding work environment and projects i was given to manage i have really had to push myself this year and in the process gained a huge amount of new skills as well as developing others significantly. Those who thrive in fast paced environments and want to really push themselves and be given real responsibilities and deliver real value to a business won't be disappointed with this placement.
The Company
Very fast paced and a lot of fun although could be stressful at times but certainly never dull.
Very organized both my HR and my immediate management team.
The company and particularly my line manager invested heavily in me, in terms of time.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
I cannot wait to come back and work for VW. it was a fun experience and will definitely refer this company to my friends.
The Culture
Everyone in the company is under 30 and this is reflected! Everyone liked to have fun and go for Friday drinks and we had such great socials!
it is expensive and over half your wage packet but I never felt I struggled! You just have to resist eating out every night and going to the most expensive bars!
It was great. Again, it was expensive and you have to resist eating out every night.
There wasn't necessarily loads of activities organised by the company, however different people within the business organised things such as the girls in the office running 10k for Race For Life and I went on many theatre visits with some of the girls!
