The Role
The job was fantastic, challenging at times but great support provided from your peers and all levels of management.
It was difficult to add value, especially at the beginning, but people were very willing to talk me though what they were expecting and where necessary, show me how to do it.
I was given plenty of support from my Department Manager as well as the Personnel Department.
I was extremely busy. But that's expected.
The project I carried out for senior management gave me extra responsibilty as they were really interested in my findings and wanted to use them in the future.
I want to work in a customer facing environment and this placement gave me great experience for that area.
The Company
Busy but a not a stressful atmosphere.
It was well organized. Everything is well placed (staff, equipment, etc)
Training was always on offer, and was extremely helpful. I received the training that sales reps receive about the brand, really enabling me to fully understand how it works and what the team were trying to achieve. Also received lots of computer training on microsoft office and industry specific programmes, and also presentation skills.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Will definitely wanted to work for them again.
The Culture
A large number of students are employed each year, which makes settling in very easy.
Not that cheap but well worth your money and time.
It was amazing! I couldn't ask for more.
The Sports & Social Club continually had events running (for example theatre trips and fund raising events) so there was always something to look forward to. The best event being 3 peaks!
