The Role
I really enjoyed my role becasue I was given alot of opportunity to see all parts of the business.
My work was a valuable contribution to the department
All of my managers helped me throughout my placement with my role, my studies, and my future career
There was always something that could be done. Because I showed capability I was given more to do. The hours I worked were much more than a 9-5, however the benefits outwayed any negative points
While it was unfortunate for some people, there were several redundancies at the company. I benefited from this in that after 6 months, I was given many of their roles to do.
This introduction to the corporate world was invaluable!
The Company
Pretty good - there's was plenty of nights out organised so everyone got on well.
Starting working on the placement with them and they had stuff for me to do and an induction plan of training and meetings.
I received any computer based training I wanted, I also received training on Marleting Mangement and trainer skills.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
I would certainly like to work for Janssen-Cilag again.
The Culture
Lots of other students, although none doing 'placements' in their purest form, all of them joined in with office parties etc. and many of the other employees were young, creating an atmosphere where I didn't feel like the office 'kid'.
Generally it was expensive since my placement was based in London.
There was always something happening at work, whether it was birthday party or just a get together
Sports and social events were oftn organised.
