The Role
This role gave me huge responsibility and taught me more than I have ever learnt throughout university and in other job roles. The skills and training I have been lucky to gain are invaluable.
I was never trated as in intern. always as a valued member of the team!
My manager supported me every step of the way and pushed me to be better. We had weekly 1:1s to ensure I was moving forward.
There was never a dull moment in this job role. It was extremely hectic but I personally enjoyed this.
Work experience is always the key to your self development - it was great to put things learnt in university to practice. This job will remain my first great step in career development.
The Company
Can be quite stressful at times which is why I marked as an 8 but mostly everyone stayed positive and friendly. Great atmosphere and great team to sit by. Banter was also good :)
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
International Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Unfortunately the internship employs between 70-90 and then we all fight to get a place on the Grad Scheme emplying on average 20. However alot of people can come back through the normal job application which would still be great.
The Culture
Lived with 5 other interns and there were lots of parties! Intern ball on Friday :)
It was only Reading - Paid £300 a month for rent and socialising was average cost. Keep living as a student and you will save lots!
Not as good as Birmingham but still had a good time!
