The Role
It was a real world example of how the company worked, although there was no choice on the type of project you would work on.
Everyone had a lot of respect for interns and were willing to help me and teach me.
Nearly all tasks were given with full support, and the buddy system is a great way to build a relationship where you can discuss the work.
Sometimes had nothing to do, other times I had lots to do.
I was given responsibility like a regular employee would do.
Showed me areas in the business sector that were strong, and areas that I needed to focus on.
The Company
Clearly a stressful environment, with long hours. However, this was good to get the insight.
Everything tab very smoothly but also allowed you to shape your internship experience according to your own interests.
They were very encouraging to support us and make sure we knew everything to be able to make the decision to apply for the faststream or not.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Really convinced me to apply but it's ashame how interns have to go through the whole process again, which is very lengthy and more intense compared to other graduate schemes.
The Culture
Lots of ways to socialise and meet new people!
I lived at home and saved a substantial amount.
Mainly consisted of the pub down the road! But the organised social events make up for it
There were charitable events, social occasions and plenty to be involved in.
