The Role
This internship was amazing - always great fun and something to keep me occupied.
I worked with lots of different colleagues, young and old, who all treated me with respect and each introduced me to their own functions within the department.
Management was always around to answer questions. They frequently spoke to me to make sure I was OK and gave me interesting work.
I was given work from all around the business but told to prioritise. Hence I was extremely busy with lots of work but had a perfect balance since most work had long deadlines before due and managed to get it all done at my own pace.
I was left alone at times when my managers thought I was responsible and trustworthy
Wide variety of sessions ran during the induction week, skills taught in all sessions (e.g. MS Excel & Presentation Workshop) will benefit me for years to come.
The Company
The atmosphere is always lively and challenging as the industry and work itself is so demanding.
Internship was setup really well; from HR right through to my own colleagues. All knew why I was there, what I was doing and how valuable I was to the team.
The Company has invested a lot of time and money in me in terms of training and development. I have attended numerous training courses which relate to both HR and Project Management, and also more general skills which will benefit me back at University next year, for example I attended a report writing course and a presentation skills course.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I would give a lot to work there. Great quality of work and training, ambitious, friendly and good work/life balance.
The Culture
Yes! We constantly organised nights out and things like that.
Not bad for a student. But night outs are limited
I enjoy the nightlife here and often that's more to do with the people that you're out with. Always have a good night and it's cheap! A variety of places to go/things to do on a night out and there's always lots of people out, whether it's an organised activity/night out or just a last minute decision to head out!
There were various different sport teams within the office I worked at that you could take part in and different charity activities.
