The Role
Working at Renault was a fantastic opportunity to work for part of a multi-national company which offers a supportive and person-centric environment to develop your business skills in.
I was part of a small team and was made to feel integral to the departments function.
Organised weekly one to one meetings with my manager and other members of the department to talk through work and plan tasks for the coming week. Also always willing to provide support outside of our scheduled time.
Developed numerous business skills which I'm sure will prove beneficial in my university life and in a future career.
The Company
The company combines a hard work ethic with a seamlessly friendly and funny core of individuals who make working an enjoyable experience.
Structured induction process and initial training programmes in Excel and Access as well as bespoke systems training for specific roles.
The companies managers invest time in their placement students and develop them for their roles over the entire year.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Attractive 24 month graduate scheme offering a rotational placement programme providing experience and time in all commercial departments, with a focus on developing individuals into future business leaders.
The Culture
Sports and Social Committee operate on a regular basis. Aside from this, always opportunities to go out in London with other placement students/colleagues in Renault as well as companies.
Purely dependant on where you choose to live. In Uxbridge, living costs relative to the Greater London area are comparably good, especially if you find student accommodation.
Recommend Liquid, Uxbridge.
5 aside football and a newly formed XI a side team operate regularly. Also social meets available such as pub quiz nights.
