The Role
It was great! This was my first internship and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was great and the work I did actually made a difference.
They treated me like any other employee in the team. I felt really welcome which was good. I was quite anxious at first but I quickly settled.
Any time I needed help I just went to my manager and asked him. I could ask anyone in my team too because they were all really friendly and wanted me to do well.
It was the perfect balance for me which I was quite fortunate to have. I was quite worried that I would have a lot of extra work to do but that wasn't the case which was good.
At the start I didn't feel I got that much responsibility but obviously that was expected so I didn't mind too much. Near the end of the intership though, my team gave me more responsibility which was very exciting.
Definitely use the skills I've learned for the rest of my life. I have learned so many transferable skills which will surely be useful in the future.
The Company
Great atmosphere as I've already mentioned. This made me work better I feel. I enjoyed it.
Great organisation. Got regular communication and I knew what was happening well in advance.
The company will invest in you if you show you have potential. The training and development opportunities are second to none.
Company Parties/Events
I've got a graduate job!
The Culture
There were quite a few of us so organising events where everyone could go was not too difficult. Good to socialise with others and 'network'. I have met so many nice people.
London, so not that cheap. But we didn't go out too often so it wasn't that bad.
London nightlife is awesome! Would recommend to everyone who hasn't been before.
Great opportunities to get involved after work. I found it very easy to attend these event to socialise and just get to know people a bit better.
