The Role
It was a good opportunity for me. I was given real work from the start; gaining valuable hands-on experience and feeling that this was beneficial not only for my CV, but personally as well.
I was treated as one of the team and not just an "intern"...it was as if I was a full time eployee which helped a lot.
Every day I was given guidance, if I was stuck on something all I had to do was ask my team. Monthly one to ones are carried out and progress is monitored.
Very. Day to day work is never quiet, there is always loads to do - in a good way. I never felt like I couldnt handle it, but my manager always made sure of this.
A lot of the jobs that I was given were those that would have been done by the employees already working at the company. I felt like I was given a lot of responsibilities in that respect.
I was already experienced in team work but I somehow improved it even more which was good. I also built up my confidence as well. Overall I feel like a better worker and thinker after this internship.
The Company
The office was excellent. Free water, milke, tea, coffee, fizzy juice etc and people are always up for a laugh.
The whole internship was planned very well. It felt like everything was decided with plenty of time so that it was very organised.
My manager spent a lot of time with me showing me how to do everything. All of the work that I done was critiqued so that I could improved.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
I would like to work here full time in the future.
The Culture
I went out with the other interns everyday for lunch. I got a long very well with all of the interns. They were all very friendly and fun to talk to.
If you can manage your allowance well, you won't have anything to worry about.
The clubs that I went to were very fun and there were lots to choose from.
There were even activities at the weekend. My team were very sociable!
