The Role
It was a fantastic experience in a great environment. A really encouraging culture of trying to be your best.
I worked in a relatively small team which meant I was able to accumulate a lot of respect and responsibility quickly.
An absolutely brilliant line manager who genuinely cared about my development and went the extra mile to help. An equally good contact manager who was always there when needed. I also had access to senior managers and management through my role. They were also very supportive.
I never felt overworked nor did I feel like I was bored. It was the perfect balance of work.
I was surprisingly given a lot of responsibility as I carried out work that current employees would do.
Since arriving back in my final year I feel it has helped me immeasurably in the way I now conduct my studies. I am much more aware about how the theory I am learning can relate to a corporate setting. Also my interpersonal skills have developed significantly.
The Company
i was in a great team with fun people.
The structure was amazing. You get various events to beef up your connections and events like ball and boat party give you a good work life balance
Communication and Excel skills are the biggest gains from this internship.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
I have made it through to have an assessment centre and am really hoping for the job
The Culture
Amazing big community of placement students, graduates , former graduates. A big outgoing culture across the organisation.
Not cheap. But salary was decent, so not too big an issue.
Lots of pubs and places to go out.
I had time to do sports outside of working hours. As well as socialize with fellow interns.
