The Role
The job could get boring at times but there was loads to learn and you were involved from the beginning.
The team did their best to get me involved as much as possible however the work i was undertaking did not overlap with their work. I was treated like a full time employee and my work was seemed to be appreciated.
Management were very approachable at all levels and you have an allocated staff member to help you with any problems
There was always lots of work to do as you have many cases to work on at one time.
You may start in the deep end but you learn loads and your responsibilities grow very quickly if you prove your ability.
Changed my behaviour as a person not just a student. More care in work, what I say and to whom. Improved communication,, confidence etc
The Company
Not too many students about however really good atmosphere and good people
There was a formal scheme with training in place before I started the job. Once in the team it was learning on the job
Always open to furthering my development, recognise placement as a future investment
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Very much appealing
The Culture
We had our own group email and often organised parties and nights out. Even during work we could meet up for a break / coffee / shopping
Expensive as everyone around that area tended to have a very high salary but as i was a student they often bought drinks for me and the corporate events were free. The salary i got was quite good so partially covered it!
Fantastic, plenty of choice.
Yes, many schemes for the comunity as well as sporting
