  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The internship was a great experience to learn about Barclays and it was very enjoyable.

    • They valued me just like they would value their colleagues which was great.

    • Great guidance and support from the beginning. I could ask anything I wanted and no question was a stupid question.

    • Great balance I thought. It tended to change as the weeks went by but I was happy and so was my manager which is what matters.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • Gave me quite a lot of responsibility which was nice. I didn't feel like I was running the show but pretty close! It was great.

    • The skills I have learned will be used for the rest of my degree and my professional degree.

    • Atmosphere was great. Couldn't complain and it helped me work well.

    • Felt it was organized really well. I knew what events were happening and was in contact regularly to catch up.

    • Great training opportunities that are great for personal development. They will invest in you if you show you can work hard.

    • Prospects are great. Will hopefully be joining the graduate scheme!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • The other interns were great and we had fun going out after work regularly.

    • It was OK for me I suppose considering it was London.

    • Nightclubs were truly awesome. Definitely organize something if you are interns.

    • Great opportunities to network set up by Barclays and the team also set up events which was good.
