The Role
The internship was a great experience to learn about Barclays and it was very enjoyable.
They valued me just like they would value their colleagues which was great.
Great guidance and support from the beginning. I could ask anything I wanted and no question was a stupid question.
Great balance I thought. It tended to change as the weeks went by but I was happy and so was my manager which is what matters.
Gave me quite a lot of responsibility which was nice. I didn't feel like I was running the show but pretty close! It was great.
The skills I have learned will be used for the rest of my degree and my professional degree.
The Company
Atmosphere was great. Couldn't complain and it helped me work well.
Felt it was organized really well. I knew what events were happening and was in contact regularly to catch up.
Great training opportunities that are great for personal development. They will invest in you if you show you can work hard.
Company Parties/Events
Prospects are great. Will hopefully be joining the graduate scheme!
The Culture
The other interns were great and we had fun going out after work regularly.
It was OK for me I suppose considering it was London.
Nightclubs were truly awesome. Definitely organize something if you are interns.
Great opportunities to network set up by Barclays and the team also set up events which was good.
