The Role
Great responsibility, recognition and working environment
I worked in one of the smaller offices, so got to know everyone really well. Everyone was more than welcoming and always on hand to give advice!
Even right up to the end of my internship, I was amazed by the amount of responsibility I was trusted with.
Found the perfect balance between having a good amount of work to do and having to much to do
Systems required by the business were supported and mostly developed by the I.T. department.
You receive core training which is carried out with fellow intern students. You also receive job specific training. The internship year makes you not only more employable but also a potentially better employee.
The Company
In the office, we had a brilliant balance of having a laugh but also knowing when to get our heads down to get the work done!
It was very well organised! We had various sessions dedicated to learning about the wider firm, networking opportunities, sufficient time at our desks and great social activities.
I attended training courses during my internship, which were essential to completing my jobs to top standards.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Employment prospects are great as they look at retain future talents.
The Culture
We had a lot of fun together and were able to organise daily activities for ourselves whenever there was none organised by the firm. They were a great bunch of people and we all got on really well.
Was quite expensive to live for an intern like me there but worth the money
The night life was great but realistically you don't spend your nights evaluating the nightlife when on an internship.
Definitely because the ARM prides themselves on giving back to the community so there were outside activities.
