The Role
I very much enjoyed this job, it challenged my skills and gave me more experience in the industry than any degree ever could!
I feel there were certain skills in which I brought to the company that existing employees did not have. This made me feel really valued. At the same time, I was taught a lot of new skills and was given loads of good advice which kept me in my place!
I was always well supported by the management team. It helped a lot that it was a small company so everybody supported each other.
During my time, there were both busy and quiet periods but on the whole I never felt overly pressured and always enjoyed it!
Despite living and working directly with our team leader we were really left on our own in the field and would only see our manager once a week
I feel that I have learned more valuable skills on my internship that I ever could on a degree, I feel much more confident about getting a job after university and skills I have learned this year will stay with me for a long time.
The Company
really good, the company was full of young people
The intern students and graduates and actively involved with shaping the future of the schemes and have the opportunity to have some responsibility within this.
I was given the relevant training required to complete my job and we had various training courses and away days.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Since working for Towers, I feel that this is a company which I would definitely want to work for once I have completed my studies. From the work I have been conducting, there are areas which I would be highly interested in exploring further and participating to in the future.
The Culture
We frequently go out in the evenings, have a pub lunch or just meet up for a coffee and a chat.
The social life was only cheap on student nights other than that it can be shocking.
Brilliant, major clubs and bars all located in walking distance!
They have a sports and social club which enables employees to attend a whole variety of clubs and participate in many different sports.
