The Role
A great company to get a real insight to the sort of work you would be doing as a first year graduate.
I did feel valued but by some were better at showing their appreciation than others.
I could comfortably ask any questions without feeling irrelevant or of annoyance to my manager.
I feel I have been kept very busy, sometimes ridiculously busy in a very pressured environment which could be hard to handle.
Although I had someone next to me on every client whom I was able to turn to, I was also instructed to try and work through the audit by myself
I think that my confidence in entering a new place has grown, as well as experiencing management theories in practice. It also made me appreciate the relationships between different branches and head office.
The Company
The atmosphere was ok, I would say I got on with some team members better than others though.
Fantastic, the one day I was in the office I needed to allow me to carry out admin work. Everything was arranged in advance.
The presentation skills workshop was fantastic to prepare you for your final partner presentation, aswell as a good chance to catch up with the other interns.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Healthcare from home
The internship enabled me to make the decision about my future and I hope to join them next September.
The Culture
Yes, all the interns got involved on the events organised by the firm and then again on events we organised internally in our office.
The cost of socializing varies depending on where you are going.
The nightlife in the area near to the client was good; although I experienced it few times I could not fault the area which we stayed and dined in.
I attended a team meal at the end of one of the client jobs.
