The Role
I really enjoyed my placement both in terms of work and the people; everyone has been really friendly and helpful with everything!
I felt like my contribution was really appreciated by the team - My duties had value and I felt like I was treated similarly to the grads that strated.
I was given just enough support and guidance to be able to show my skills, which helped me prove myself.
Generally I felt I had the perfect balance as I always had something interesting to work on and never felt bored.
I was given my initial responsibilities and these were added to at my monthly appraisals as and when needed.
I felt many of my skills were honed throughout my placement year, with areas such as time management and organisation being particularly improved.
The Company
There was a great atmosphere in the office. The offices are open plan which promotes ease of communication and makes you feel like part of the team.
Really well organised, as a team of undergrads we often got given talks from higher members of management and before we left HR helped us improve our CV's!
I underwent a lot of training and was taken along to some important meetings and other events from which I could learn about real life experiences needed for my job.

I have been offered a graduate job in different location, however I am still not sure if I am going to accept it due to various personal and professional issues. However, it is good to know it is achievable and I was wanted as an employee.
The Culture
There was plenty opportunities for socializing, firm's events as well as parties organised by ourselves.
As it is no London, costs of living and socializing were okay.
Not much.... Pinxton is no where near London
Placements usually go on night outs every weekends and I got invitations to some sports club organized by employees
