    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • The work was great, my tasks were challenging and the people helped and supported me through any difficulties I encountered.

    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt that colleagues valued my opinion, and were grateful and saw value in the work I produced. I never felt like I'd been given a task to keep me occupied.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The support was always there and I knew that, I'm quite independent so I liked that I wasn't micro-managed, but my supervisor was still able to tell when I was struggling on anything.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I always had loads of work to do, but I was given all my projects at the start and could prioritise, balance, and focus my work when it was best to achieve everything I hoped to.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The work I was assigned, I was responsible for. This was quite daunting to begin with but really helped me grow and learn. I'll also see my work translate into store which is really cool!

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As far as management and marketing skills, I'll always use the skills and refer back to the knowledge I gained throughout my 8 weeks.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

  • Subsidised Canteen

    National Travel
